Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Musalia Mudavadi, has challenged leaders to shift their attention from blame games to tangible service delivery that improves people’s lives.
Speaking at the commissioning of a new X-ray machine at Itando Mission Health Care in Hamisi Constituency, Vihiga County, Mudavadi said leaders must be solution oriented to accelerate development.
He stressed that excuses and political wrangles only slow down progress.
“The people did not elect us to trade accusations, they elected us to work. Let us focus on solving problems and bringing development closer to the wananchi,” Mudavadi said.

He further urged residents to hold their leaders accountable by demanding quality services, adding that strong public oversight was key to good governance.
He also commended the Kenya Pipeline Corporation Foundation for donating the X-ray machine, noting that it would spare locals the burden of traveling long distances for diagnostic services.
The event underscored the government’s ongoing commitment to improving healthcare access in underserved regions, a move expected to transform service delivery in Hamisi and beyond.
