Muthoni at the same time criticized Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) leader Rigathi Gachagua over one term narrative, arguing that such remarks misguide communities and risk isolating them from government led development projects.

Backed up Rindikiri the duo, called on the Meru community to support the government adding that after President William Ruto’s term, Kithure Kindiki stands a strong chance of ascending to the presidency in 2032.

“One term narratives are misleading and could isolate the Meru community from government developmental programmes. The people of Meru should support the government, hence after Ruto’s term is over Kindiki our son stands a better chance of leading the country as president,” said Muthoni.
