Safaricom PLC has officially unveiled its customer value addition offer campaign dubbed “Pata More” in order to give it customer more value on offer they buy and use on a daily basis.
The offer which was launched at Nkubu main stage is designed to give more mobile data for the same amount of money on selected bundles.
It also rewards customizers for using Safaricom services, by spending the same amount of money and getting more value for it on a daily basis.

The offer is set to run in the mount Kenya region after being launched at Nkubu matatu stage in South Imenti constituency, Meru County.
The Mount Kenya region Safiricom PLC General Manager Patrick Mburu said they took the initiative after the customers started asking regularly how they could get more value from the money they spend on daily basis owing to the tough economic times being experienced in the country and globally.
“We responded positively by unveiling the “Pata More” campaign in order to give it customer more value on offer they buy and use on a daily basis. The customers’feeling is working more for them than it normally did, by giving more value to our products,” said Mburu.
The general manager noted that for products such as the hourly 150 MB Shs 420, safaricom increased it to 250 MB, while the Sh 1,000 monthly bundle where the customer was getting 10 GB, they now will be getting 21 GB adabo value were getting earlier, but for the same amount of money.
“This means that customers can now do more activities such as live sale of their products and custom engagements on social media. “Pata More” extends to money transfer services such as Pochi La Biashara. Where the customers were transacting for products worth less than Sh 100 for free, they now can transact up to Sh 200 shillings for free.

For business owners transacting from Pochi La Biashara to other business owners, they were earlier transacting Sh 200 for free but they can now transact up to Sh 500 for free meaning more earnings are retained by the business people,” explained the General Manager.
He said “Pata More” extends to customers using the Faiba to Home internet services, noting that they now will enjoy 2.5 times more speeds for products such as the package which earlier cost Sh 3490 speeds of 15 mbps, will now be enjoying speeds of up to 40 mbps, meaning first operations without needing to get more expensive packages.
Other offers under the Pata More are the Ofa Ya Wakulima, where farmers get discounts when they shop for farm related purchases, Ofa Ya Boda, where besides riders getting connectivity, they also get the Tuunza Mapato insurance to help them get medical covers in case of accidents and continue earning their families their daily bread during the hospitalization duration.
Mburu instited that besides giving offers, safaricom has come up with the My One app, where customers can scan to pay in supermarkets and reduce the time wasted in long queues while paying at the cashiers’

He said the app also has the self-service section where customers can do self-service on various queries they might have.
A customer and a Meru Dairy Union Cooperative representative Emma Mukami expressed her satisfaction with the Safaricom solutions including M-pesa pay bill solution, which helps the dairy processor to efficiently receive payments from their countrywide outlets and their internet solutions that make communication seamless and paperwork outdated respectively.
She advised other business owners to take advantage of the timely offer and use the products offered by safaricom as they are the only guaranteeed path to growth.

During the campaign launch event residents smiled all the way home after winning various gifts and hampers varying from smartphones, sound bars, cookers, t-shirts caps and cash.
