Former Meru Deputy Governor Titus Ntuchiu has rallied his support for the ongoing youth led movement saying they are standing up against corruption and the misuse of the taxpayers money.
Ntuchiu also accused the Kenya Kwanza administration of lacking direction and misusing public funds under the guise of empowerment programs.
Speaking at Gikumene, North Imenti constituency, Ntuchiu emphasized that the youths are not fighting the government but only standing up for their rights.
“The youth are not fighting the government for the sake of it. They are standing up to corruption and the misuse of taxpayers’ money. Every week, we see people carrying bags of money and distributing it in the name of empowerment. This is not development,” stated Ntuchiu.
He criticized the Kenya Kwanza government for failing to deliver on its promises, terming its policies “false hope with no clear roadmap.”
He said what Kenyans truly need is real development, job creation, and proper service delivery and not political showmanship.
“Let this government stop the theatrics and start implementing what Kenyans need including employment opportunities, sustainable development, and respect for public funds,” he added.
Ntuchiu joins a growing list of leaders who are urging the national government to listen to the people’s cry and prioritize meaningful progress over populist programs.
