Kenya Ambassador to Netherlands Ms Halima Mucheke has called on the Meru community to unanimously support the reelection bid of President William Ruto in order to continue enjoying the development goodies they are currently getting.
The Envoy said the best way of ensuring development projects continue to trickle to the region is by voting for the Kenya Kwanza government in the 2027 general elections.

She said if the current administration looses elections to the opposition, the Meru community will not enjoy the development projects they are currently getting noting that one of their son Prof. Kithure Kindiki is the Deputy President.
Speaking in Meru town during DP Kindiki development tour of North Imenti constituency, Mucheke encouraged the residents to register for the voters cards and ensure that they vote unanimously for President Ruto and his deputy Kindiki.
“I urge the Meru community to fully support the Kenya Kwanza government in order to continue enjoying development projects. Ensure you have the voters card and vote unanimously for President Ruto and his deputy Kindiki in 2027 general elections. If we loose the election to the opposition, we will not get the development we are currently enjoying,” said Ambassador Mucheke.
She lauded the government for showing goodwill to the community by initiating several development projects in the region and making many senior appointments.
The Envoy also applauded President Ruto and DP kindiki for appointing her as the Netherland ambassador and for naming seven envoys from Meru County.

Mucheke credited her appeal for support to the recent increase to cash crop price with coffee selling at Sh140 up from Sh50 while milk is going for Sh50 down from Sh35.
She assured the residents that the current administration has transformative plans to take the country to the next level.
“This government loves us. I want to laud President Ruto and DP Kindiki for appointing me as the Netherland Ambassador. They have appointed seven envoys from Meru County. During their tenure, the price of cash crop has gone up. Coffee is selling at Sh140 up from Sh50 while milk price has gone from Sh35 to Sh50.
There is a reason to support this government to continue ruling. It has transformative plans to take us to the next level,” said the Envoy.
She said in 2032, they we support DP Kindiki for President once the term of President Ruto comes to an end.

Mucheke said she is working harmoniously with the current North Imenti MP Rahim Dawood in a bid to ensure developments reach all parts of the constituency.
