Africa teams have performed above expectations in the ongoing World Cup tournament.
Africa is represented by 10 teams during this year’s world cup including Ivory Coast, Senegal and Cape Verde.
Others are Tunisia, Morocco, Ghana, Algeria, South Africa, DR Congo and Egypt.
Ivory Coast won their first game after they defeated Equador 1-0, Morroco, Egypt and Cape Verde drew their games while Tunisia and South Africa lost.
Ghana and DR Congo are yet to play their first matches.
Ivory Coast triumph against South American giants Equador means they are a team to watch while Morocco drawing with Brazil, a team that has won the world cup five times means they are also a team from Africa that will go far in this world cup.

All eyes will be on DR Congo as they play Portugal and Ghana as they play Panama.
The ongoing World Cup is composed of 48 teams all placed in 12 groups
from group A to L.
Each of the two best teams in the group will qualify for the next round.
Eight best third placed teams will also make it to the next round meaning there will be 32 teams that will enter the knock out stage.
We wish Africa teams all the best.
