The Head of Protocol in the office of the Deputy President Gideon Kimathi has lauded President William Ruto for his deliberate and unprecedented effort to empower the youth academically and economically in a bid to improve their welfare.
Kimathi said since independence, no other Head of State has given has been as knowledgeable about the welfare or status of the youth like President Ruto and urged all Kenyans to support such a noble initiatives.
Speaking at Meru National Technical Training Institute during a sensitization forum for NGAO, Kimathi said President Ruto has transformed the country to a construction industry by initiating projects directly beneficial to the youth like the Affordable Housing.
“The country is being transformed to a construction industry through projects beneficial to the youth like the Affordable Housing, learning institutions and roads among others.I thank President William Ruto for his deliberate and unprecedented effort to empower the youth academically and economically in order to improve their welfare and social standing in the society. I wonder where the leaders opposed to the Affordable Housing wants us to take the youth once the project is cancelled,” said Kimathi.
He assured Kenyans that the government will continue to give priority to security and education sector due to the vital role they play in the growth of the country.
The Head of Protocol also hailed the Kenya Kwanza government for employing more than 100, 000 teachers since taking over the leadership mantle noting that plans are underway to employ more in the nearby future.
“Due to lack of knowledge some start claiming the education sector is collapsing. Plans are underway to ensure more teachers are employed in the country. This is why I urge you to continue supporting President Ruto and his Deputy Kithure Kindiki reelection bid in order to continue enjoying the national cake,” said the Head of Protocol in DP’s office.
He urged the youth to embrace Kaazi Majuu program by registering in order to benefit from the initiative.
Kimathi challenged chiefs and their assistants to ensure they sensitize the youth about the Kaazi Majuu promotion in order to benefit from the program.
Kimathi said President Ruto and DP Kindiki decided to assist all youth through opportunities, funding and creating jobs in housing, diaspora and agriculture among others.
“Village managers, chiefs and their assistance will coordinate the job of registering the youth to the Kazii Majuu program as promised in the bottom up economic agenda,” said Kimathi.
He hailed the youth who became millioneers after embracing the Kaazi Majuu program by getting jobs abroad noting that many of the latest millioneers were poor individuals three years back but they are now smiling all the way to the bank courtesy of the Kaazi Majuu program.
He promised to be their ambassadors and called on other youth to embrace agriculture farming since it has also transformed many to millioneers.
Kimathi termed TVET’s as a one stop shop where total transformation in academic prowess and technical skills for job opportunities are attained.
He encouraged those still at home to ensure they enroll and attain such skills.
“Information is power. If you don’t have information you are simply powerless. I challenged leaders and residents to ensure they know all the TVET’s institutions near them in order to enroll and study at an affordable cost,” said Kimathi.
