Trade and Cooperatives CECM Rev. Carol Kaberia noted that the county government has remained committed to empowering traders and farmers by improving market infrastructure and creating better trading environments.
She commended the significant progress made in ensuring that Meru residents access reliable and well-structured markets.

“I urge the residents to take advantage of the improved market facilities to boost their businesses and livelihoods. The County is focused on strengthening cooperative societies and supporting small enterprises which are central to achieving sustainable economic growth,” said Rev. Kaberia.
She reiterated the county’s commitment to continue supporting market expansion initiatives and promoting value addition for locally produced goods in order to enhance competitiveness both regionally and nationally.
