Kenyans have been urged to reelect President William Ruto and DP Kithure Kindiki in the 2027 general election to enable the duo complete the many development projects they have initiated in the country since took over the leadership mantle.

Water and Sanitation Cabinet Secretary Eric Muuga advised Kenyans to elect credible leaders with proven track record and shun misguided leaders with nothing to offer to the citizens.

Speaking at Kamitungu Forest in Tigania West constituency, Meru County when planting trees to mark the Mazingira Day celebrations, CS Muuga advised the entire Meru community to embrace unity and support the duo in order to continue enjoying the national cake.

He said it is only through unity that the Meru community can continue enjoying the national cake.

“Let us shun divisive politics and embrace unity in order to continue enjoying the national cake. In order to continue enjoying the goodies,we must rally behind President Ruto and his Deputy President Kithure Kindiki. The duo has an impressive development record and we must give them another chance to complete them by reelecting them in the 2027 general election,” said the Water CS.

He said it is unfortunate that some leaders only engage in abusive language but fail to participate in important national development projects.

The CS said some leaders have no tangible development project to show on the ground and only rely on empty rhetorics to gain political mileage.

“Let us elect development conscious leaders and avoid judging leaders depending on their physical appearances. Some leaders have no tangible development project to show on the ground and only rely on empty rhetorics to gain political milestones and sympathy votes,” said CS Mugaa.

The CS also drummed up support for DP Kindiki and urged residents to continue supporting him noting that those opposed to his leadership are lying to Kenyans based on unfounded rumours.

He said unlike his predicissors, DP Kindiki is always available and ready to assist whenever their is a chance.

“Let us support him since he is accessible. I urge other leaders to give credible instructions to our people and stop unnecessary lies. Unity of purpose is the way to go. Only by supporting one of our own can we keep the position of the Deputy Presidency,” said CS Muuga.

He promised to support the war against illegal brews noting if the trend is not contained, it might wipe out an entire generation.

The CS called on Kenyans to ensure they register with SHA since sickness is a persona responsibility

He also urged youth to register as voters to enable them make a decision on the kind of leadership they want during the 2027 general elections.

He urged Kenyans to embrace tree planting noting that Kamutungu forest is the breeding place for elephant that come when water is available.

“If we don’t plant trees they won’t come. It’s our heritage which earns livelihood both in Kenya and abroad. Most of the sources are bare and needs to be revived at all cost. It is our responsibility to safeguard and protect the forest in order to ensure enough water to attract enable jumbos breed,” said the CS.
