Furaha Centre Meru in collaboration with various stakeholders over the weekend held a walk aimed at showing love, care and support for the exceptional children.

Furaha Centre is non-profit making organisation that was established in the year 2016.

The centre is for the children living with paediatric developmental particularities, physical disabilities and neuro divergent disorders including autism, cerebral palsy,ADHD down syndrome among others.

Meru county Deputy governor Linda Kiome  assured the organisation that the county government will accord them the necessary support.

The First Lady Meru county Miriam Cherotich Mutuma said the Meru county government under the leadership of governor Mutuma M’Ethingia will stand with the children and accord any necessary support they may need.

The Furaha Centre Meru founder Marec krakus said that his dream is to build a modern rehabilitation centre.

CECM Youth, Sport and Gender in  Meru county Elias Murega emphasised the importance of talking care of the kids.

He said that through his department, they have developed a children policy that is aimed at protecting the right of children in the society.
