South Imenti Member of Parliament Shadrack Mwiti has pledged his full support for Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, vowing to protect and elevate him to the presidency in the near future.
Speaking in his constituency, Mwiti lauded the Deputy President for his role in supporting President William Ruto’s administration.
“We will stand by DP Kindiki and support him for the presidential bid after Presodent William Ruto’s term ends. He has proven himself as a strong leader with the interests of the people at heart,” said Dr Mwiti.
The MP further expressed his unwavering support for President Ruto and the Kenya Kwanza government, stating that the opposition lacks viable alternatives or solutions for the country’s development.
He credited the current leadership with transformative strides in national delivery and governance.
“This government is focused and delivering. The opposition has nothing tangible to offer. We appreciate the efforts of our Deputy President in ensuring that the President’s agenda is implemented effectively,” Mwiti added.
The endorsement by Mwiti happened at Mikumbune Methodist church during a thanksgiving service that was attended by several politicians led by the Deputy President Prof Kithure Kindiki.
