Sad news for Isiolo South residents and the country at large Member of Parliament Tubi Bidu Mohamed has passed away.
The MP has died on November 12 2025 evening, while receiving treatment at Nairobi Hospital according to a statement from National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula
Tubi Bidu was serving his first term in Parliament, where he sat in the Environment, Forestry and Mining Committee and the Public Petitions Committee. Before joining Parliament, he was the first Speaker of the Isiolo County Assembly a position he held until 2017.
Speaker Wetang’ula said the late MP will be remembered as a hardworking and humble leader who cared deeply for his people and worked to improve their lives.
“Let us remember Hon. Tubi for his great service and the positive impact he made,” Wetang’ula said, sending condolences to his family, friends, and the people of Isiolo South.
The Isiolo South legislator will be laid to rest on Thursday November 13, 2025.
