Tigania East MP Mpuru Aburi has sounded a warning to land grabbers and perpetrators of the vice.
Mpuru alleged that several irregular transfers of land have been causing tension amongst neighbors in the area.
He warned that some land officers will soon face full force of the law if they don’t change their modus operandi.
“We have criminals involved in land crisis in Karama, and we will deal with them. Already, there are 32 000 title deeds for Athinya, Athanja, Kitharene and Buuri A adjudication sections. We shall deal with those thwarting the process of title deeds issuance in Tigania East” he said.
Mpuru also vowed to ensure that the rogue lands committee members are removed from the committees so as to ensure that there is smooth process of acquiring title deeds.
Recently, several claims were raised by Mbaranga residents against land officers whom they alleged are corrupt.

The MP who spoke at CCM Lubuathirua primary and junior secondary school during bursary issuance, called out on parents to embrace application for the funds.
He also promised support to the teachers in the area despite their diverse counties of origin.
“We need to raise education standards in our region. Let’s not politicize the origin of our teachers but instead, let’s support them so that they help grow our learners” said Mpuru.
