Meru residents who did not receive the covid 19 vaccination have been urged to get the jab at the Meru Huduma Centre.
Speaking to The Voice Daily, Isaac Nkubitu, a medical practitioner said that they have camped at the Huduma centre so that they could bring services close to residents.
He said despite reduction in cases of people contracting the virus, Covid 19 is still a threat.
“We are sponsored to be here since we are aware some people could not reach hospitals because of various reasons,” Mr Nkubitu said, adding that they are also administering booster injections to those who were yet to receive them.
He pleaded with residents to take the injection so that they could acquire immunity which would prevent them from contracting covid 19 virus.
“it’s important people get the injection so as to attain herd immunity and be safe from covid 19 virus” Nkubitu said.
