The Meru county government has officially flagged off approximately 100 nurses who will be participating in the 2025 National Nurses Week celebrations in Migori County.

The exercise was presided over by the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Health, Dr. Dennis Mugambi at the county headquarters.

Dr. Mugambi lauded the nurses for their unwavering dedication to healthcare service delivery across the county.

He emphasized the county government’s steadfast commitment to supporting the professional growth and recognition of healthcare workers, especially nurses who form the backbone of the health system.

“This event offers a vital opportunity for our nurses to connect with peers from across the country, exchange best practices, and reaffirm their essential role in the health sector,” Dr. Mugambi remarked.

Their participation not only marks a celebration of their tireless efforts but also underscores the county’s ongoing investment in elevating healthcare standards through workforce empowerment.
