Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza has Launched a Zebra Crossing in Meru town along Meru Nanyuki Highway.
“We’re working day and night. I’ve commissioned a zebra crossing at Meru National Polytechnic which has a population of about 10,000 students, in an effort to improve the safety of students and area residents of the highly populated area, when crossing the busy Meru-Nanyuki highway.” Governor Kawira has said noting other Zebra Crossing spots will be marked at Gitoro Primary, Meru School, Meru Primary, County headquarters, Riverland and Gakoromone market, to safeguard pedestrians.
