More than 50 political, activists and opinion leaders from Meru have declared their unwavering support for Impeached Rigathi Gachagua.
Led by Meru County Senator aspirant Timothy Kithinji the leaders said the Kenya Kwanza administration has failed in implementing their agendas to Mwananchi and rather turned to lies and political betrayal.
The leaders pleaded with Gachagua not to leave out Meru community once he forms the next government.
“We came all the way from Meru to get first hand experience about Riggie G and his the next political direction,” Kithinji said.
Kithinji said the only way to demand their national cake is through unity of purpose and a political stand in speaking in one voice.
“We are not against anyone but the only weapon that will push for our rightful share of developments is a political party especially in Mt Kenya East and West regions. We are all aware that the ODM party has been immensely rewarded by Ruto. Why can we not form our own party?” He said.
Kithinji , who spoke on behalf of his fellow leaders said it is time for Meru people to speak with one Voice and form the next government spearheaded by Gachagua.
“Let’s reason together. We are not afraid to die with Gachagua because we are sure he will be our saviour. It is Mwananchi who elected you, stop terrorising them. It is clear the people have rejected you for lies, dramas, high taxation and poor leadership. Ease the economic burden biting people not threatening how no one can fight against the government and win,” Kithinji said.
